Anyone with a laptop is certainly familiar with the batteries and the laptop battery chargers. However, the average laptop user can often become a bit frustrated with the life span of their battery. This can often be resolved by learning some quick tips for keeping batteries and laptop battery chargers in good shape. After all, that laptop is not going to be very useful to you if you are limited by the plug. Therefore, to be on the move and portable, let’s take a close look at the guidelines for chargers and batteries so that you can get the most of your laptop experience.

Many laptop users are surprised when their battery does not last long, when they have been recharging it faithfully. One of the very common misperceptions is that the more you charge the better. At first, this may make sense, as a person often thinks that charging the battery is putting life back into it, so why not the more the better?

Some tips that will help is to only use your laptop battery chargers when needed. Your battery will last longer if you allow it to discharge from use and then use the charger once it is very low and truly in need of a charge. Using the charger too often takes away the battery’s memory, and then next time that you charge it, it will not last as long as the time before. Therefore, when at all possible, wait until it is just about empty and then plug it into your charger.

If you have a NiCad or NiMH battery, there is a way to purge them. About every two month, you can leave the laptop turned on, without using the AC adapter. Be sure to have your screen blanking and sleep disabled. When the display disappears and the battery is fully discharged, you can then plug the computer in, but powered off, for about 24 hours. This will purge the battery.

While a battery will not last forever, laptop battery chargers can last forever, if you take care of them. Be sure to store your charger in an area where there is not a chance of it becoming wet. You will want to keep it away from open windows in case of unexpected rain, not keep it near a sink and so forth. One common mistake that users make is to tightly wrap the cord around the charger when not using it. While it is a good idea to keep things neat and tidy, be careful that you do not wrap it overly tight. This can cause damage to the cord itself, that you will not be able to see, but will be under the protective covering. And finally, while this goes without saying, accidently dropping your laptop battery charger is never a good idea. While it seems that it would not happen too often, it is surprising how many laptop owners, who are also puppy owners, find that the cord of their charger was chewed when their eyes were not on the puppy. For all electronics, including laptop battery chargers, do keep cords out of reach of pets and from small children who may see it as a toy. Not storing it on a high shelf can help avoid this common mishap. Finally, you will want to occasionally clean the connections on your charger with a soft, lint free cloth to keep any dust from accumulating.

There is so much we can talk about when we are speaking of Asus laptops, so why don’t we start from the top. First of all, the things that people pretend to know about but really do not, the specifics. There are many different Asus laptops out there, but the one I looked at had an Intel Core Duo processor ( about 1.66 GHz to be exact). It also had about 1 GB of RAM already installed onto the Asus laptops. The weight of the Asus laptops was actually pretty light when you think about it. In fact, the one I got to use was about 3.3 pounds.

Asus S6F Pink Laptop

Now you may say that is all good in gravy, but what about the stuff you care about? Well we are getting to that. The LCD screen was amazing and looked better than most HDTV’s I have seen. Also, for having such a big screen on it, I was amazed to see at how long the battery lasted. Most of the Asus laptops come with leather lids and a matching mouse as well. Depending on the model of Asus laptops you choose to get, most come with a great built in DVD burner, which, even if you are not going to use it, is still a nice plus.

However, if you are not into that kind of thing, I would look for one that does not have a burner, because that would just save you money. Even so, like all great things, you have to take the good with the bad.

Not everything about Asus laptops are the best. First of all, I have to say most are some what expensive for most people. For the same price that you can get one of the Asus laptops, you can get a super powerful desk top PC that would eat one of these Asus laptops alive. You could even choose not to spend so much and get a different laptop for about the same price. Unlike a few of the other keyboards I have seen, the Asus laptops seem to have a cramped space for these keyboards. If you have big hands, this could become a problem. Although the screen is nice, it does have a glossy coat on it. This can cause it to be a little bit to reflective and hard to see at times.

Asus S6F Colors

When all is said and done, all Asus laptops are great, and you are going to get your money out of them. However, if you do not have a lot of money to spend on a laptop then you may want to go with a different brand. These are super nice, but now-a-days you can get a laptop that does the same thing for less money. Keep in mind, however, that this is a very powerful laptop. Unlike other super powerful laptops, the Asus laptops are very portable. It seems like other laptops weigh a lot, and you have to stay close to a wall so you can plug it back up when the battery runs down (every hour).

The world of laptops is about to get a major shake-up as with the arrival of the Asus S6 series. These laptops do feature the latest Centrino Duo Components and they are the first to feature the permanent real leather panels. This laptop has chosen to deck the rear of the screen and the palm rest below the keyboard in a real cow-leather material. It possesses a gunmetal-grey keyboard and matching mouse touch pad that makes it a pleasant change to the plethora of matte-black input devices. This lap do consists of the VGA port, a hard-wired switch that enables and disables the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios and much more features that make this S6F a beautiful laptop that needs to be possessed.

Asus S6F Laptop Pack

This AsusS6F as said is the one that could brought changes in the look of the laptops. The company could be given a full credit, for shoving the laptop with the latest Centrino Duo Technology. It uses the Intel 945 Gm chipset and an Intel Centrino Duo L2400 dual-core CPU running at a speed of 1.66 GHz with 1 GB DDR2 memory. This laptop used the 11.1 inch TFT SXGA screen with the resolution of 1,366X768 pixels and has Asus’ glossy color shine coating. But its small size means it can be difficult to read.

Asus S6F Pink Laptop

Keyboard had surprisingly large buttons that gives a comfortable type on and the mouse touch pad proved responsive, however its square-ish shape doesn’t matter the flatter, rectangular aspect ration of the screen. Behind the magnetically sealed flap there are VGA port and a hard wired switch that is used to enable and disable the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, along with this are the modem, LAN, well- spaced USB ports and a mic jack. Since these are hidden they have the ability safe away from the unwanted dust settlement.

There is an SPDIF head phone socket just outside the port, and to the right is an additional USB port, a DVD-rewriter drive, an Express card slot and a multi-format card reader. The keyboard and the mouse touch pad are in the gun-metal grey this adds to the pleasant look of the device.

But with all these better designed laptop, there are also some negative shortcomings considered as could find the high –yield battery on the lap looks bigger that do reduce the look of the unit. So this needs to replace with a smaller battery. Another disadvantage of Asus S6F laptop is that it does have screen resolution that most support in the reflection when used in direct sun or office light and of course beside its size supporting in portability it can be added to the difficulty of reading. But one idea to overcome this problem is to enable the ’large fonts’ mode in windows XP display setting. Unfortunately the graphics are powered by Intel’s integrated GMA950 controller chip, and this result in poor performance of graphics with games, as far considered this laptop may not be used more promisingly for games only.

Asus S6F Colors

Though with only few difficulties S6F have good advantages too. It has an extended battery that turns it into a very versatile sub-notebook with plenty of performance and fortitude. Under the panama the S6F is hammered up to date, motorized by one of the latest Intel Core Duo Processors sponsored by fast DDR2 memory. One of the advantages of S6F is that, this is the first notebook seen with using a low voltage version of the Core Duo.
